Answers :

1) Answer: B

Profit ratio of A, B and C = 4000 * 12:8000 * 12:6000 * 8

= 48:96:48

= 1:2:1

C’s profit share = ¼ * 4800 = 1200

2) Answer: B

Ratio of profit share

Ajay : Vijay

(1400 + x) /(1800 + 2x) = (5600-3200)/3200

(1400 + x) /(1800 + 2x) = 2400 / 3200

(1400 + x) /(1800 + 2x) = 3 / 4

5600 + 4x = 5400 + 6x

2x = 200

x= 100

Investment of Ajay = 1400 + 100= Rs. 1500

3) Answer: B

Profit ratio=12000 * 12:16000 * 8

=9:8

Shon’s profit share=8/17 * 17000=8000

4) Answer: D

Profit ratio=4 * 8:7 * 9:9 * 6

=32:63:54

C’s profit share=54/149 * 7450

=2700

5) Answer: E

Investment of Mano = 3200

Investment of Varthan = 4800

Period of investment of Mano = 40% of 12 = 4.8 months

Period of investment of Varthan = 12 - 4.8 = 7.2 months

Profit ratio, Mano: Varthan = 3200 * 4.8: 4800 * 7.2 = 4: 9
