Answers :

1) Answer: B

The share of A, C and P,

= > [120000 * 12] : [160000 * 6] : [125000 * 6]

= >48 : 32 : 25

The share of A and C together = Rs. 800000

80’s = 800000

1’s = 10000

The share of P = 25’s = Rs. 250000

2) Answer: D

The amount invested by Q = (100000 / 5) *  7 = Rs. 140000

The share of B, E, Q and A,

= > [100000 * 10 + 120000 * 2] : [220000 * 12] : [140000 * 8] : [120000 * 4]

= > [1000000 + 240000] : [2640000] : [1120000] : [480000]

= > [1240000] : [2640000] : [1120000] : [480000]

= >31 : 66 : 28 : 12

The share of B and Q = Rs. 295000

59’s = 295000

1’s = 5000

The total profit = 137’s = Rs. 685000

3) Answer: C

The share of A, F and E,

= > [120000 * 4] : [260000 * 6] : [220000 * x]

= >24 : 78 : 11x

According to the question,

= > [102 + 11x] / [78] = (636000 / 234000)

= > [102 + 11x] / [78] = (106/39)

= > 102 + 11x = 212

= > 11x = 110

= > x = 10

4) Answer: A

The share of C, F, R and S,

= > [160000 * 9 + (160000 + 2x) * 3] : [260000 * 12] : [120000 * 9] : [140000 * 6 + (140000 + 3x) * 3]

= > [1440000 + 480000 + 6x] : [3120000] : [1080000] : [840000 + 420000 + 9x]

= > [1920000 + 6x] : [3120000] : [1080000] : [1260000 + 9x]

According to the question,

= > (1920000 + 6x) / 1080000 = (11/6)

= > 1920000 + 6x = 1980000

= > 6x = 60000

= > x = 10000

The additional amount invested by S after 9 months

= > 3x = Rs. 30000

5) Answer: C

The share of A, B, D and C,

= > [120000 * 6 + 160000 * 6] : [100000 * 12] : [180000 * 9] : [160000 * 6]

= > [720000 + 960000] : [1200000] : [1620000] : [960000]

= > [1680000] : [1200000] : [1620000] : [960000]

= >28 : 20 : 27 : 16

Total profit = Rs. 364000

91’s = 364000

1’s = 4000

The share of B = 20’s = Rs. 80000
