Answers :

1) Answer: D

The given information can be tabularized as follows.

Where 8Y and 7Y = Marks obtained by Hatim in Hindi and History respectively.

5X and 6X = Marks obtained by Narendra in History and Hindi respectively.

P = Marks obtained by Sachin in Hindi and English each.

T = Marks obtained by Dinesh in Hindi and Political Science.

10Z and 9Z= Marks obtained by Kartik in History and English respectively.

Total marks scored by Hatim = 65 x 4 = 260

Narendra = 82 x 4 = 328

Sachin = 80 x 4 = 320

Dinesh = 75 x 4 = 300

Kartik = 70 x 4 = 280

Now, 50 + 60 + 2T = 300

Again, 10Z + 9Z +(95-10) + 100 = 280

Z = 5

Again, 100 + P + P + P +10 = 320

3P = 210

P = 70

Again, 5X + 6X + 92 + 71 = 328

11X = 328 -163

X = 15

7Y + 8Y + 45 + 65 = 260

15Y = 150

Y = 10

Thus, the given table becomes:
