Answers:

1) Answer: B

Share of G in 2017 is = 2.85% of Rs. 35000 crore.

So, the required value is = 2.85/100 × 35000 = Rs. 997.5 crore.

Share of G in 2018 is = 2.7% of Rs. 41500 crore.

So, the required value is = 2.7/100 × 41500 = Rs. 1120.5 crore.

So, there is a increase of = 1120.5 – 997.5 = 123 crore.

Hence, the required answer is = 123 crore.

2) Answer: B

Share of F in 2017 is = 14.61% of Rs. 35000

So, the required value is = 14.61/100 × 35000 = Rs. 5113.5 crore

Share of F in 2018 is = 16.34% of Rs. 41500

So, the required value is = 16.34/100 × 41500 = Rs. 6781.1 crore.

Thus, the percentage increase is = (6781.1 – 5113.5)/5113.5 × 100

= 1667.6/5113.5 × 100 ≈ 33%

Hence, the required answer is = 33% (approx.)

3) Answer: C

Contribution of all shareholders other than A in 2017 is = 100 –53.55 = 46.45

Similarly, Contribution of all shareholders other than A in 2018 is = 100 – 55.84 = 44.16

Hence, the required difference between them is = 44.16 – 46.45= -2.29

Hence, the required answer is = -2.29.

4) Answer: D

Share of A in 2017 = 53.55% of total

So, share of A in 2019 = 53.55% + 3% = 56.55% of total

So, in 2017,

= 53.55% of 35000 crore = 53.55/100 × 35000 = Rs. 18742.5 crore.

And In 2019,

= 56.55% of 41500 crore

= 56.55/100 * 41500 = Rs. 23468.25 crore

Thus, the growth rate of A = (23468.25 – 18742.5)/18742.5 × 100

= 4725.75/18742.5 × 100 ≈ 25%

Hence, the required answer is = 25% (approx.)

5) Answer: E
