Answers :

1) Answer: A

The total income of person P

= > 200000 * (18 / 100) * (100 / 60)

= > Rs. 60000

The total income of person Q

= > 200000 * (22 / 100) * (100 / 55)

= > Rs. 80000

Required difference = 80000 – 60000 = Rs. 20000

2) Answer: C

Total expenditure of person R

= > 200000 * (20 / 100) = Rs. 40000

Total income of person U

= > 200000 * (11 / 100) * (100 / 40) = Rs. 55000

Required % = (40000 / 55000) * 100 = 72.72 % = 73 %

3) Answer: D

The average number of total expenditure of person P and Q together

= > [200000 * (18 / 100) + 200000 * (22 / 100)] / 2

= > [36000 + 44000] / 2 = Rs. 40000

The average number of total expenditure of person S and U together

= > [200000 * (13 / 100) + 200000 * (11 / 100)] / 2

= > [26000 + 22000] / 2 = Rs. 24000

Required difference = 40000 – 24000 = Rs. 16000

4) Answer: B

The central angle corresponding to the expenditure of person U

= > (11 / 100) * 360 = 39.6°

5) Answer: A

The total savings of person S and T together

= > [40000 - 200000 * (13 / 100)] + [45000 - 200000 * (16 / 100)]

= > [40000 – 26000] + [45000 – 32000]

= > 14000 + 13000 = Rs. 27000
