Read the following information carefully and answer the questions given below.

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a circular table and all of them are facing centre of the table. All of them like different languages Tamil, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi and Bengali but not necessarily in the same order. There are some male and female persons in the group and not more than two consecutive persons sitting together belongs to the same gender.

The one who likes Kannada sits third to the left of G. C is an immediate neighbour of G and he sits second to the left of the one who likes Hindi. The one who likes Bengali sits to the immediate left of H. H does not like Hindi and Kannada and he does not belong to the same gender as G. The one who likes Marathi sits second to the left of F and she is an immediate neighbour of D. F does not like Bengali and Telugu. The immediate neighbours of D belong to the same gender. The one who likes Telugu sits third to the right of B, who is not the same gender as D. The one who likes Malayalam sits to the immediate left of B. Only one person sits between E and the one who likes Tamil. E does not face F. Immediate neighbours of the one who likes Tamil does not belong to the same gender.

Explanation:

  • The one who likes Kannada sits third to the left of G. C is an immediate neighbour of G and he sits second to the left of the one who likes Hindi.

  • The one who likes Bengali sits to the immediate left of H. H does not like Hindi and Kannada and he does not belong to the same gender as G.

  • The one who likes Marathi sits second to the left of F and she is an immediate neighbour of D. F does not like Bengali and Telugu. The immediate neighbours of D belong to the same gender.

  • The one who likes Telugu sits third to the right of B, who is not the same gender as D. The one who likes Malayalam sits to the immediate left of B.
  • So, Case-2(a) will be dropped.

Case 2a gets eliminated because not more than two consecutive persons sitting together belongs to the same gender.

  • Only one person sits between E and the one who likes Tamil. E does face F. Immediate neighbours of the one who likes Tamil does not belong to the same gender.
  • So, Case-1(b) and Case-2(b) will be dropped.
