Explanation

We have:

  • Box V is kept at a gap of two boxes from box U which contains Book. At most two boxes are kept below box V, which neither contains Mobile nor contain Laptop,
  • Neither Box V nor Box U is kept either at the top or bottom.
  • The box which contains Toy is kept at a gap of one box from the box which contains a Book. At least three boxes are kept above the box which contains Toy
  • Box T, which is neither kept at the top nor contains Bag, is kept at a gap of two from Box which contains Toys
  •  Based on the above given information we have:

Again, we have:

  • The box which contains Mobile is kept at a gap of one box from the box which contains a Laptop, as V neither contains Mobile nor contains Laptop. The box which contains Toy and Mobile are kept adjacent to each other.
  • The box which contains Bottle is kept at a gap of one box from Box T, Based on the above given information we have:

Case (2a) is not valid as the box which contains Bottle is kept at a gap of one box from box T and that condition is not valid in case (2a).

Again, we have:

  • The number of boxes are kept between Box V and Box R, which doesn’t contain Toy, is same as the number of boxes are kept between Box P and Box S, which is neither kept at the top nor contains Toy. Box R is neither kept at the top nor contains Ball. Box S is kept at a gap of two boxes from Box Q. Box P is kept at any place above box Q,
  • The box which contains Ball is kept at a gap of two boxes from Box W and R doesn’t contain Ball, that means case (1a) and (1b) is not valid, thus box P must contain Ball.

Based on the above given information we have:

Case (1a) and Case (1b) are not valid as box W is kept at a gap of two boxes from the box which contains Ball, but in case (1a) and (1b) W is kept at a gap of two from the box that contains Laptop which is not valid.

Again, we have:

  • As box T doesn’t contain Bag, thus T must contain Watch.

Based on the above given information we have the final arrangement as follow:

1) Answer: C

2) Answer: A

3) Answer: B

4) Answer: D

5) Answer: D
